NORWEGIAN MISSION ALLIANCE PHILIPPINES, INC., is a diaconal mission organization focused on children and youth, utilizing holistic development approach to about 9,000 children in Metro Manila, Rizal, Laguna, Bulacan and Marinduque.  We are in need of qualified experienced and committed individuals to be part of our team for the transformation of our community partners.  If you think your qualifications match the requirement of these positions, then we are inviting you to join us and face the challenge of transforming peoples’ lives to make a difference.

 

PROGRAM OFFICER FOR COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM

Place of Work:   MARINDUQUE

Desirable Qualifications:

Ø       A graduate of 4 year course in Community Development, Social Work, or any social science related course, 5 to 7 years background in child and youth focus programs and or experienced in community development and project cycle management.

Ø       At least 3 to 4 years experience in leading and managing child & youth programs utilizing holistic approach particularly on community organizing and community based organizational building for people’s organization and youth sector

Ø       With excellent knowledge on participatory action research,  community awareness & education; partnership and capacity building of LGUs , Council for the protection of children;

Ø       Experience in LGU, NGO and PO collaboration

Ø       With good experience in managing and supervising staff to respond to community needs

Ø       Good communication, facilitation skills both in English and Tagalog

Ø       Good Team Player in a multi-cultural and inter-faith setting

Ø       Must be an Evangelical Christian

 

HEALTH FACILITATOR 

Place of Work     :               MARINDUQUE

Desirable Qualifications:

Ø       Graduate of a 4-year Medical Science Course primarily focusing on Public Health, Nutrition, Nursing and/or other medical science related course.  Other related educations might be considered

Ø       With experienced working on a child focused organizations/projects and with good grasps of networking and link-aging ing task with focus on health issues, awareness, programs and strategies including familiarity in community development work and/or community-based health approach.

Ø       Good communication, facilitation and documentation skills both in English and Tagalog

Ø       With excellent knowledge of alternative health care approaches and applications such as herbal medicines, and other popular medical practices and heallth care methods

Ø       Experience in coordinating and conducting medical and dental missions

Ø       With capacity to train; and develop health training designs & modules

Ø       Pro-people, service-oriented; process-oriented

Ø       w/skills in health advocacy and campaign
