UNITY BUILDS HEALTH AND EDUCATION FACILITIES Buenavista, Marinduque- “In the midst of the continuing development in what was dubbed the depressed Barangay of Yook is the overwhelming unity of its people…We once envisioned a Barangay Health Center that will look like the Barangay Hall itself, but what we were able to build was even bigger than what we dreamed of…There is nothing wrong in dreaming for a better future, as long as it is paired with persistence.” A DREAM COME TRUE I am Kristina Grace A. Fernandico, sponsor child of Norwegian Mission Alliance Philippines from Navotas area. I’ve been a sponsor child since I was in my kindergarten days, 1994. My father is working as a Security Guard in a company, while my Mother is a vendor of variety of food spices and selling it house-to-house. I am the eldest child among the 4 siblings. My parents has always helped each other to give us a better future, and I was so blessed that Norwegian Mission Alliance Philippines have supported me to reach my dream. AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER! Thank God it’s Friday! As we welcome our new Consultant Mr. Ole Martin Uglem and his wife Mrs. Hilde Bringedal Uglem into the NMAP FAMILY last January 22.What an affair to remember! |

A DREAM COME TRUE
My father is working as a Security Guard in a company, while my Mother is a vendor of variety of food spices and selling it house-to-house. I am the eldest child among the 4 siblings. My parents has always helped each other to give us a better future, and I was so blessed that Norwegian Mission Alliance Philippines have supported me to reach my dream. I am now 20 years old. I graduated last March 2009 with a course of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). I took up my Nursing Licensure Examination last November 2009 and the result came out last February 2010. I passed it ! I am very thankful to the Lord. I considered it as one of my greatest achievements of my life to become a registered nurse, and I know my parents and younger siblings were also happy for me likewise our staff in NMAP. My parents had difficulties to support my studies because and I would maybe not able to graduate without NMAP. I am very thankful to be a part of Norwegian Mission Alliance Philippines, not only because of the financial support for my studies, but because of the enlightenment and teachings that made me walk into the right path, and made my family be able to know God as well. Now I am lined up to take my volunteer training at the Philippines General Hospital, one of the biggest and the oldest tertiary Hospital, located at Manila. While waiting for my schedule at the said hospital I will be having my training at The Philippine National Red Cross, and search for a job to be able to save money for my future training. Honestly, yes I do have a plan to go abroad to be able to help my parents in sending my younger siblings to school. But while waiting for that opportunity I want to serve my countrymen and enhance my knowledge and skills here in the Philippines. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Norwegian Mission Alliance Philippines, through my sponsor for making this dream into reality that serves me to achieve and higher level of my profession. May God bountifully bless the mission to continue assisting other Sponsor children to fulfill their dreams like me!
